Membership Types
Regular Member
The Association shall issue a certificate of regular membership to a person who:
- is at least 18 years of age
- holds a valid and subsisting certificate issued by the Board of Examiners
- has paid the membership fee and any other fee required by law.
Any person who holds a valid and subsisting certificate is a member in good standing and is entitled to hold himself out to serve as an administrator and use the designation RMA. It is a statutory requirement for administrators in a community with population of 100 and over to become a member of the Association.
Associate Member
Any person who holds the office of Clerk or Treasurer of an urban municipality shall be admitted to the Association as an Associate Member on payment of the prescribed fees. The Association also provides for honorary membership for those persons who have contributed to the betterment of the Association.
